Every Child, Every Day, Whatever it Takes.
Collaboration in Evanston
Donation Button For the second summer in a row, Caring Outreach by Parents in Evanston (COPE) is partnering with District 65, the District 65 PTA Council, Evanston Community Foundation, the Evanston Public Library, St. Marks Church and many others in an effort to provide school supplies for students in need. With over 40% of students qualifying for free or reduced price meals, there are many families who need our support. Together, we can make sure our children are ready to start a new school year prepared to learn and ready for success.

COPE is working to organize community support and raise funds, District 65 will source and order the supplies, and the PTA Council will coordinate volunteers to assemble and distribute supplies so all funds raised can be dedicated to the cost of supplies.

In addition, several businesses within the community, including Lulu’s/Taco Diablo/Five and Dime, Curt’s Café, Little Beans, Curt’s Café, Backlot Coffee, Maya Papaya & Tony Macarony, and Starbucks, are getting behind the effort by hosting school supply drives or raise money at their locations.

Goals

Individuals and organizations are invited to make donations to help reach this year's fundraising goal of $20,000. By attaining this goal, we will provide approximately 1,000 District 65 students with the necessary school supplies. Any donation makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and our schools!
